Beyond bowls, Blackbird Leys Bowls Club offers a range of social events throughout the year. Our entertainment programme includes:
- Darts Matches: Mixed matches on Monday evenings and ladies’ matches on Wednesday evenings.
- Saturday Night Entertainment: Live performances and events when available, starting at 6.30pm.
- Bingo Club: Held every Wednesday from 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM.
Our Clubhouse provides a welcoming space for members and guests to socialise, with a comfortable lounge bar and seating around the green, perfect for enjoying a drink while watching the games.
If you would like to hire the club's kitchen for your event the club requires the hirer or guests to have a Food Health and Hygiene Level 2 certificate. This is compulsory, no acceptations. There will be a deposit required for the hire of our facilities.

Membership Options
We offer two types of membership: Bowls Membership for those looking to play competitively or recreationally, and Social Membership for those who want to enjoy the club’s social scene without taking to the green. Both memberships provide access to our excellent facilities, including the bar, clubhouse, and social events. Membership can be paid in instalments.
